Having graduated with a degree in fashion design and working under a very experienced tailor, I’m comfortable with basic alterations as well as complicated custom designs, tailoring, and bridal alterations. About Lolita Atelier
MY NAME IS Emily
I’ve loved clothes for a very long time. I love collecting them, fixing them, photographing them, and upcycling them. I graduated with a dual degree in Apparel & Textile Design and Graphic Design from The University of Alabama. I decided to open Lolita Atelier after graduating and moving back to Maine and realizing there was a lack of jobs in the fashion industry. Having always wanted to own a brick and mortar where I could offer a service and sell what I wanted, I decided now was as good of a time as any to start my own business. After working under a very experienced tailor in Portland, Me, I gained the additional knowledge and skills I needed to pursue this specialization on my own. Welcome to Lolita Atelier!
